You ditched the magneto for a timer? I have an almost completely original 1969 XLCH in “Sparkling Blue”. That paint went on like a candy paint job, light coats of blue over a metallic silver base. The metallic shows through the color coat(s). You have a nice motorcycle!
there's no battery on a 69 ch. there's a magneto. perhaps that is a 'late' 69 ch? mine had no battery. maybe partway through the year when AMF changed things around?
The battery isn’t stock. It was converted from magneto to a distributor ignition. That’s when the battery was added. It has the lunchbox oil tank and tin primary cover combination that only 66-69 xlch’s had
Gorgeous. Loving the style, engine and its still going well. 👍🏼
Great job. A very correct exhaust solution!!!
Very nice bike and work
i like the style u made it....
Nice bike epic 😎
XLCH900、コンパクトで、マフラー音がいいですよね~。 今現在プレミア価格でメチャ高いけど、いつかは乗りたい。

nope, you're right, it's not a 1969 XLCH. it wasn't until the 1970 model year that the XLCH got a battery.

Nice CH. Lose the battery, find a magneto.
